Winners named in annual Terry Awards

Terry Beene and his crew rolled out the red carpet for Branson entertainers and musicians on Sunday, during the annual Terry Awards event. The Terry Awards, founded by Terry Beene, a radio announcer at that time, got its start in Texas 47 years ago, but relocated to the music mecca of Branson a few years ago.
Hosted by Jamie Haage and Barbara Fairchild, Branson's biggest award show was held at the Hughes Brothers Theatre, and honored musicians, vocalists and entertainers in a variety of categories. The show also featured performances by Shane Van Camp, Brice Beene, Chuck Cusimano, Ashley Dawn, Allen Asbury, Johnathan Bond, Matt Gumm and Company, and more.
Mike Bliss was named Comedian of the Year.
The Fiddle Player of the Year was Dean Church.
The Band of the Year honors went to Nashville Roadhouse Live.
Lead Guitar Player of the year was given to Mike McAdoo.
The award for Female Vocalist of the Year was presented to Kimberly Barber.
In the category of Male Vocalist of the Year, Rick McEwen was the winner.
John Lance was named Instrumentalist of the Year.
The Texas Pioneer Award was presented to Chuck Cusimano.
Rosie Plummer and her late husband Darrell were honored with the Pioneer Award.
The Humanitarian of the Year Award was bestowed upon Janice Braschler.
Mike Patrick received the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award.
The Lowe Sisters were presented with the Living Legend Award.
The award for Drummer of the Year was given to Robbie Blackwood.
Dennis Pratt was named Keyboard Player of the Year.
The recipient of the Steel Guitar Player of the Year Award was George Geisser.
A Neil Diamond Tribute was honored to be named Tribute Show of the Year.
The Bass Player of the Year was Camby Henson.
In the category of Vocal Group of the Year, the winner was New South.
The Vocal Duo of the Year Award was presented to Colton Cooper and Keaton Biddle.
The Bilyeau Family was named Gosp
el Group of the Year.
The award for Production Show of the Year was presented to Re-Vibe.
The Morning Show of the Year award recipient was Redneck Comedy Tour.
The Baldknobbers Vintage Show was named Matinee Show of the Year.
The Show of the Year was presented to The Petersons.
The coveted award for Entertainer of the Year went to Matthew Boyce.
