Toy run to provide gifts for area children

Motorcycles lined the parking lot of Walmart on Branson's 76 Country Boulevard last week in preparation for a very special event—the annual toy run.

Dozens of motorcycles and members of the Freedom of Road Riders Local 15 participated in the 36th annual event.  

FORR members collected toys and warm coats for children, then hopped on their motorcycles and traveled to the Elks Lodge in Forsyth to drop off their treasures. The toys and other items will be sorted, wrapped and given out to Taney County children prior to Christmas. 

The Freedom of Road Riders teams up with the Taneycomo Elks Club 2597 for this special event each year, in order to provide holiday gifts to area children in need.
