Country music legend Randy Travis will bring his More Life Tour to Branson on Sunday, November 8, 2026. The concert begins at 8 p.m. at the Clay Cooper Theatre. The show marks the conclusion of a two-year nationwide tour. The tour visited more than 54 cities across 24 states to celebrate four decades of music and is a wonderful musical celebration of Randy’s legendary career.

During his four-decade career, Travis sold more than 25 million records and earned seven Grammy Awards. He recorded 23 number-one hits and scored 31 top-ten singles. His 1986 chart-topper “On the Other Hand” helped launch a new traditionalist movement in modern country music—blending resonant baritone vocals with classic acoustic sounds.

The 1987 release of “Forever and Ever, Amen” put him in the running for back-to-back Country Music Association Song of the Year awards. Randy’s honors include: in 2016, he became a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame; in 2021, he received the CMT Artist of a Lifetime award; and in 2025, he took home the Milestone Award from the Academy of Country Music.

After surviving a near-fatal stroke in 2013, the long-time Grand Ole Opry member lost the physical ability to sing full concerts. However, Travis continues to tour in person alongside his wife, Mary Travis. During the two-hour show, Travis engages directly with audience members from the stage—smiling, clapping, waving and sharing in the performance.

James Dupré, the featured vocalist, joins Travis’s original touring band for a show of the group’s classic hits. The concert program runs the gamut of 16 signature tracks and chart-toppers. Among them are “Diggin’ Up Bones,” “Deeper Than the Holler,” “Three Wooden Crosses,” “Whisper My Name,” “Look Heart, No Hands” and “I Told You So.” To keep the sound authentic, the musicians on tour will play the same instrumental arrangements as the studio originals.

Dupré—a Louisiana native from Bayou Chicot—was a former paramedic and aspiring meteorologist who gained national recognition through online videos. He later appeared on NBC’s “The Voice” in 2015 on Adam Levine’s team. Randy and Mary Travis handpicked Dupré in 2019 to join the tour as lead vocalist. He also co-starred with Travis in the movie “The Price,” playing Travis’s son.

Dupre said that after being asked by Randy and Mary Travis to be the lead vocalist in the tour he didn't even hesitate to or think about it, he just said "Yes." Then after the phone call when it all started sinking in, he thought, "Oh man, what I just agreed to do? But it's been really, really fun and a great success." He went on to say that one of the highlights of the tour for him is just watching Randy's fans at every single show, and seeing how meaningful his presence is, even just separate from the music. "How meaningful it is to people over decades of their lives that are tied to his music. For me as an artist, that is such an extraordinary thing to see… I just feel like the way he connects with the fans is something that I will always strive to do in my own career."

The concert incorporates historical video highlights from Travis’s career across music, television and film. During the performance, vintage clips show Travis singing “Amazing Grace” at the Grand Ole Opry. Near the conclusion of the concert, Travis joins in to speak the final line of “Forever and Ever, Amen.” Moving moment.

In May 2024, Warner Records Nashville put out “Where That Came From,” the first new single from Travis in over a decade using some of the most recent advances in music production and artificial intelligence. Producer Kyle Lehning created the track using computer software to reconstruct Travis’s voice. He used Dupré’s studio recording as a foundational ‘vocal bed’—a guide track used by software models. Travis and his wife have used the release to champion creator rights and advocate for responsible protections for recording artists.

Fans can see Randy in person at the Clay Cooper Theatre in Branson on November 8, 2026, for the last stop of the More Life Tour. To get tickets, one can go online or contact the box office at 417–332–2529.

On November 13, 2026, Randy and Warner Records Nashville will be releasing his new album, "Same Old Way." This album contains completely new material spanning Randy’s distinguished recording career from 1986 to 2013.
