Taney County Republican Central Committee hosting Flag Day ice cream social, June 14

Citizens of Taney County are invited to a Flag Day ice cream social hosted by the Taney County Republican Central Committee on Saturday, June 14, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Branson RecPlex, Pavilion D (southeast entrance to the RecPlex),, located at 1501 Branson Hills Parkway.

The Central Committee chose Flag Day as an opportunity for local, state and federal officeholders to drop by for an informal meet and greet with the Republican voters in Taney County. This is also a great time to meet your Committee Man and Committee Woman, who represent the eight townships in the county, including Beaver, Big Creek, Branson, Jasper, Oliver, Scott and Swan.

Join the Central Committee Members as we honor our national flag and its history, specifically the adoption of the first American flag on June 14, 1777. The Central Committee Members will be serving complimentary ice cream, bottled water and a flag to attendees, while supplies last. Learn more about your Taney County Republican Central Committee on Facebook @TaneyCountyRepublicanCentralCommittee. This event will take place in rain or shine! We hope to see you and your family on Flag Day! Great parking, kids’ playground and restrooms on site.
