Four members of the Stone County Sheriff’s Office have earned promotions in recognition of their experience, leadership and dedication to serving the community.

The department recently announced the promotions of Sgt. Donny Hargrave, Sgt. Randy Labrier, Cpl. Chris Parton and Cpl. Scott Burdg, recognizing each officer’s commitment to law enforcement and the responsibilities that accompany their new ranks.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the promotions reflect the department’s emphasis on developing strong leaders who demonstrate professionalism, accountability and integrity while serving the citizens of Stone County.

The department considers mentorship and experience important components of effective leadership, particularly as experienced officers help train and guide fellow deputies. Those advancing in rank are expected to take on additional responsibilities while helping maintain the department’s professional standards.

The Sheriff’s Office congratulated all four officers on their achievements and expressed confidence in their continued contributions to the department and the Stone County community.
