Sleds Midwest celebrating 18 years in Branson this weekend

Since 2007, the Sleds Midwest Kustom Car and Hot Rod Event has called Branson home. The annual show features a large selection of pre-1980 cars, trucks and bikes.

This year's show, the 18th annual event, is set for August 15, 16 and 17. The weekend promises to offer fun for the entire family with evening entertainment, a car corral, a dam cruise, celebrity and sponsor judging, awesome awards, a daily show and shine, and more. Exciting events are planned for the exhibitors as well, including Branson shows and a movie night.

Produced by Big Time Kustoms, the Sleds Midwest Show, held at the Willow Tree Inn and RV Park, 3381 Shepherd of the Hills Expressway, will be a show to remember, featuring sled cars and trucks, vintage, heavily modified American vehicles, often characterized by their large size, low stance and extreme customization. Sleds are more noted for their aesthetics, rather than their performance.

The event is open to the public daily for a nominal fee.
