Sleds Midwest bring vintage vehicles to Branson

Branson's Willow Tree Inn and RV Park was the site of a fun-filled event last weekend when the Sleds Midwest Kustom Car and Hot Rod event came to Branson.

Car enthusiasts and collectors braved the extreme heat to view the dozens of spectacular vehicles on display.

This year marked the 18th year for the Sleds Midwest Show to make its way to Branson. The event featured not only an array of unique vintage vehicles, but also  music, food and beverages, contests and vendors.

Exhibitors participated in the annual Dam Cruise, a daily Show ‘n Shine, and a special awards presentation. The weekend also included evening entertainment and a movie night, and allowed time for attending some Branson shows, as well.

Produced by Big Time Kustoms, the Sleds Midwest show is the region’s largest show of pre-1980 cars and trucks. By definition, a sled is a vintage, heavily modified American vehicle, often characterized by its large size, low stance and extreme customization. Sleds are recognized for their looks, rather than their performance.
