Have you ever wanted to be a part of a musical, but didn't have the right connections or the time to make it happen? The Hughes Brothers Theatre has a solution for that, with the first ever 24-hour musical.

The Theatre will be the site of the first ever musical put together in 24 hours—learning lines, blocking and choreography. There will be built-in rest periods and participants will sleep when they are not rehearsing,  

If you are interested in participating in this family friendly production, in-person auditions will be held on Saturday, July 25. Arrangements will be made for those who are out of town to audition via video submission. Those who are not selected to perform in the musical can apply to be a part of the tech crew or front of the house crew, The musical will be produced August 7 and 8.  Rehearsals for the musical will begin at 1 p.m. on Friday, August 7 and the finished product will be performed in front of a live audience at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 8. 

The name of the musical is being withheld for the time being, but organizers say it is family-friendly. While the rehearsals will be intense, they end result promises to be worth all the hard work participants put into it.
