Shoreline cleanup set for next month

Each year volunteers gather on the shores of Lake Taneycomo, Table Rock Lake and Bull Shoals Lake, or on the banks of other streams in an effort to clean the shorelines. This year is no exception. The 2026 H2Ozarks Shoreline Cleanup begins September 25.

This year marks the 26th year for the cleanup. Last year, more than 500 volunteered throughout the Shoreline Cleanup weekend, picking up trash on over 1,900 miles of shoreline on three area lakes. Since its beginning, more than 19,000 bags of trash have been hauled away during the annual cleanup.

In addition to the volunteers who donate their time, the H2Ozarks Shoreline Cleanup relies on sponsorships and donations from area residents and businesses who understand the importance of keeping our waterways clean and healthy for all to enjoy.

The 2026 H2Ozarks Shoreline Cleanup will be held Friday, September 25, to Monday, September 28. You may volunteer to clean up litter on Table Rock Lake, Lake Taneycomo, Bull Shoals Lake or any river or stream throughout the region.
