School of Santas to bring hundreds to Branson this weekend

If you see Santa everywhere you look this week, don't fear.  He's not here to find out if you've been naughty or nice. He is here for Branson's School of Santas.

Each July, dozens of Santa's helpers converge on Branson for the annual School of Santas, four days of workshops, fellowship and learning, combined with some great Branson entertainment and lots of fun. This year's event is slated for this weekend, July 16 – 19.

The School of Santas is headquartered at AmericInn by Wyndham, where Santa, Mrs. Claus and all of their helpers will be staying. Each day will include a variety of workshops, each with important holiday information. Santas will also enjoy a memorial BBQ, a cookies and milk reception, Join the Claus for Coffee, and more. Additionally, Santa and his crew will take time to visit some special Branson shows during their visit.

Workshops, presented by the best in the business, will provide information on Reading to Children, Santa's Hair and Makeup, Insurance Essentials, Magical Tools to Keep the Christmas Magic Alive, The Art of Being Mrs. Claus and much more

This year's event features Phillip Wenz, one of the best and most esteemed Santas in the world, as well as instructors Rick Rosenthal (founder and owner of Northern Lights Santa Academy), Larry Talbert (Talbert Insurance Services), Miranda Ritter (Kansas City Reindeer), Shirley Wenner, Ken Debelius, Missy Boggs (Master Stylist and owner of Snow on the Roof Santa Hair), Liz Ruch, and Tracy Pierce and many other helpers and volunteers who team up each year to make School of Santas a huge success. 

The event will also feature a vendor village where Santa's helpers can browse and shop all things Santa related.

School of Santas is hosted by Spangle the Clown, who has been spreading laughter and happiness for more than 30 years and has been the mastermind behind the School of Santas for the past eight years. He is also the driving force behind the Warm Santa's Heart by Warming the Hands of Children initiative, collecting gloves, hats, scarves and warm items to give out during his Santa visits.

Attendees will enjoy performances by in-house entertainers Terry Wayne Sanders (A Branson Legend), Rick McEwen (a Kenny Rogers Tribute) and Rick and Anna Watson (a Garth Tribute), and will visit The Haygoods and the Clay Cooper Country Express.
