The Ralph Foster Museum at the College of the Ozarks invites the community to join them for Storytime at the Star Schoolhouse, one of several special patriotic events scheduled at the College in celebration of America’s 250th Birthday. The Missouri Star School #38 was relocated to the campus near the Museum in 1975 from its rural Barry County location.
These special story times will include a schoolhouse-style experience with storytelling and games, featuring special appearances by reenactors of historical figures Betsy Ross, on Saturday, June 13, and George Washington, on Thursday, July 16. Both sessions are from 10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., with seating limited on a first-come, first-served basis and standing room thereafter.
