The Stone County Library recently held a ribbon cutting with the Table Rock Lake Area Chamber of Commerce for the library’s new Reeds Spring branch, opened in April through a partnership with New Testament Christian Church. It’s been a while since this column reminded readers of the many services offered by Stone County Library, so this is a good time for an update!
In addition to the new Reeds Spring branch, SCL has branch locations in Blue Eye and Crane, plus the main library in Galena. They also partner with libraries around the state to provide readers with access to a wide variety of books, movies and more; and offer digital access to resources and services as well.
Looking for a great summer reading suggestion? Want to interact with others with similar reading tastes? You’ll find them; and there are also children’s programs, book clubs and groups featuring crafts and other special interests.
Following are the hours for the various branches:

Tuesday/Thursday: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
