Opening night promises to be the start of an outstanding year for The Haygoods

The Haygoods kicked off their 2026 season on Valentine's Day, to a sold-out crowd. The new season marks the 34th year of the wildly talented sibling group performing in Branson.

"It's hard to wrap our heads around that," said Timothy Haygood. "We've now sold over seven million tickets and performed thousands of shows. Branson has truly been home for our entire professional lives."

While some considered 2025 slower than usual, it was not so for The Haygoods. Said Timothy, "Last year was extremely strong. Attendance was up, digital reach expanded nationally, and our content brought an entirely new wave of guests who discovered us from social media."

After the 2025 season, the Haygoods had a very busy off-season that included some time to travel and recharge, before jumping into the business of this year's show. Each year, The Haygoods create a new show, with new arrangements, new production, new visual concepts and more.

"We never want someone to feel like they're seeing a repeat," Timothy explained. "This is one of the biggest creative jumps we've made. New for 2026 is a brand new tap number, a completely new movie medley, a brand new harp feature, a new a cappella arrangement, expanded video effects and upgraded visuals. It's the most layered production we've ever built."

Additionally, this year's show features the group's viral "woodpile songs" – typically seen on social media and now surpassing 50 million views – included in the live production.

The new elements have combined to make a phenomenal show for The Haygoods, as evidenced during the season's opening night.

Said Timothy, "Opening night was completely sold out – and we turned away several hundred people at the door. The energy was off the charts. The crowd response to the new tap number, viral woodpile songs, movie medley, harp feature, a cappella section and upgraded special effects was incredible. We walked off the stage feeling proud – not just because it worked, but because it felt like a leap forward."

If opening night is any indication, The Haygoods can look forward to an exceptional 2026 season.

"Group business is up another 20% compared to last year, and many fall dates are already sold out," noted Timothy. "Advance sales are ahead of where we were at this point last season. The trajectory feels very positive."

In addition to their Branson shows, The Haygoods continue to record and release new music, develop new recording projects and expand their digital presence, and have some other exciting projects in the works.

In a town that often experiences The Branson Shuffle, where shows move from venue to venue, The Haygoods remain a prominent part of the incredible lineup at the Clay Cooper Theatre.

"This is our 12th season at the Clay Cooper Theatre. We love Clay and Tina and it's been a remarkable relationship. The partnership has allowed us to continually grow the production, expand our technical capabilities and create the kind of show we've always envisioned. It truly feels like home."

The Haygoods 2026 show schedule lists performances on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday evenings, with 2 p.m. shows on select dates. For more information or a complete show schedule, visit their website, thehaygoods.com.

Timothy added, "We don't take 34 years lightly. Every season is earned. We push ourselves because the audience deserves evolution. Branson has supported us for decades and we're still working like it's year one. If you've never seen The Haygoods, 2026 is the year. And, if you've seen us before—this is not the same show. The energy, the production and the music have all leveled up. Come experience it live."
