Jammin’ for Jesus will present a free gospel concert on Sunday, November 1, at 2 p.m. at The Hughes Brothers Theatre, located at 3425 W. 76 Country Blvd. in Branson.

Hosted by Brian Pendergrass and Sheila Meeker, the afternoon will feature an inspiring lineup of Christian musicians and ministries, including Jimmy Jack Whitaker, The Singing Bones, Paige Kingsbury, Bruno and Gary Dooms. The concert promises an uplifting afternoon of gospel music while supporting a meaningful cause that helps children pursue their musical dreams.

The concert will benefit The Jimmy Jack Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping children with limited resources experience the joy of making music.

The foundation provides free musical instruments and educational support to young people who might otherwise be unable to pursue their musical interests.

Through its efforts, the foundation collects and distributes musical equipment to children in need. Even broken or well-used instruments are welcome, as they may be repaired and restored before being placed in the hands of a child who dreams of owning an instrument. The foundation also awards music and arts scholarships, including the Gary S. Paxton Memorial Scholarship, to help students advance their musical education and careers.

Community members are encouraged to search their basements, closets and storage areas for forgotten instruments that could find new life with a young musician. Donations of musical instruments and equipment may be brought to the concert on November 1. An instrument that is no longer being used could become the beginning of a child's musical journey.

Admission to the concert is free, and everyone is welcome. Attendees can enjoy an afternoon of gospel music, support Christian ministries and help make a lasting difference in the lives of children through the gift of music. A love offering will be taken at intermission with 100% of the collection going to the JJF.

Branson Jammin’ for Jesus invites the community to attend, bring a friend, a snack, a drink and consider donating an instrument to help make a child's musical dream come true.
