National Law Enforcement Week celebrates and honors officers

Law enforcement officers and retirees from around the region converged on Branson last week for National Law Enforcement Appreciation week.

The annual celebration is a special week for Branson residents and visitors alike, as thousands of law enforcement officers and their families visited area shows and attractions.  Many shows and attractions offered special performances for Law Enforcement Week, while others offered free admission or special discounts to officers and their families. 

Highlights of National Law Enforcement Week were the annual golf tournament, police collectors show, a motorcycle and obstacle course and the annual light parade at the Branson Landing.

All branches of law enforcement were celebrated. as well as rewarded for their service, during this special week.
