‘Mental Health Unshackled’ to be held next week

A special presentation regarding mental health will be offered next weekend at Branson's Church of the Harvest.

Presented by Randy Baar with help from Dr. Paul Collins, the event, set for October 19, will give a biblical perspective on a topic that is often considered taboo amongst Christians.

The presentation, "Mental Health Unshackled," will offer an in-depth look at a challenge faced by many in our country and our community, and offer biblical principles to apply, as well and help and hope for those who suffer from mental health instability.

Both Dr. Paul Collins and Randy Baar are ordained ministers and phenomenal men of God. Dr. Paul Collins, having shared the gospel in many venues throughout his life, is the lead pastor at Branson's Church of the Harvest. Randy Baar has been a minister of the gospel since 1990. He produces a Christian talk show patterned after The Tonight Show that airs on ALG Gospel network and Branson Gospel TV.

Both Collins and Baar feel strongly that "Mental Health Unshackled" contains important information that will benefit the public greatly.

"Mental Health Unshackled" will be presented on Sunday, October 19, at 1:30 p.m. There is no charge for admission, and the public is welcome to attend. The presentation will be taped and distributed to interested members of the community.

Church of the Harvest is located at 501 West College Street in Branson.
