‘Mental Health Unchained’ presentation this Sunday

A special presentation regarding mental health will be offered Sunday at Branson's Church of the Harvest.

Presented by Gail and Randy Baar with help from Dr. Paul Collins, the event, set for October 19, will give a biblical perspective on a topic that is often considered taboo amongst Christians.

The presentation, "Mental Health Unchained," will offer an in-depth look at a challenge faced by many in our country and our community and offer biblical principles to apply, as well as help and hope for those who suffer from mental health instability.

Dr. Paul Collins will serve as host for the presentation, posing questions to both Randy and Gail throughout the event. Gail will offer her perspective as a spouse and from the role of a caretaker. Both Dr. Collins and Randy Baar are ordained ministers and phenomenal men of God. Dr. Paul Collins, having shared the gospel in many venues throughout his life, is the lead pastor at Branson's Church of the Harvest. Randy Baar and his wife, Gail, have been ministers of the gospel since 1990. Together, the couple produces a Christian talk show patterned after “The Tonight Show” that airs on ALG Gospel network and Branson Gospel TV.

Both Dr. Collins and Randy Baar feel strongly that "Mental Health Unchained" contains important information that will benefit the public greatly.

"Mental Health Unchained" will be offered on Sunday, October 19, at 1:30 pm. There is no charge for admission, and the public is welcome to attend. The presentation will be taped and distributed to interested members of the community.

Church of the Harvest is located at 501 West College Street in Branson.
