Thomas Jefferson is coming to Branson!
On Saturday, June 20, Freedom Encounter Theater in Branson is proud to present nationally-acclaimed re-enactor Steve Edenbo in a special event that offers a perfect way to celebrate the approaching 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
Edenbo has portrayed Thomas Jefferson for a documentary “Thomas Jefferson” TV series and the Emmy Award-winning “A Taste of History,” as well as at renowned historical venues including Monticello, Independence National Historical Park and the National Archives. His portrayal offers guests a unique opportunity to experience one of the nation’s most influential Founding Fathers, with Jefferson’s own writings coming to life on stage.
Doors open at 9 a.m., with Mr. Jefferson’s presentation starting at 11 a.m. The day will include an interactive Q & A session, photo opportunities, special family activities and photo opportunities, plus colonial-era food available for purchase following the program.
