Sho-Me Flooring is a family-owned and operated company. With husband and wife team Rob and Shelley Krutsinger at the helm, Sho-Me offers flooring, window treatments, and cabinet sales and installation.
"We specialize in customer service, quality products and savings," explained Shelley. "We also offer restoration services through our sister company Sho-Me Clean—services such as water and mold mitigation, duct and dryer vent, tile and carpet and upholstery cleaning. We strive to provide trustworthy customer service and consulting. We answer many questions and educate our clients so they make the best decisions on purchases."
Shelley continued, "We also offer unique niche market custom Graber blinds and shutters and draperies. Light control, energy efficiency and motorization are among the many options available. Custom area rugs are another service offered. Due to the increase of hard surface flooring interest, area rugs provide great accents of color and warmth. Sho-Me Flooring is now offering custom cabinets. All are made in the USA."
Rob Krutsinger has been installing flooring for 30 years. Born in Joplin, Krutsinger moved to Branson in 1987 at the age of 24, opening the area's first Domino's Pizza franchise. The facility was so successful that he received numerous awards and achieved number one status, nationwide, for 20 weeks out of the year, from 1990 to 1997. Rob would move on to installing flooring, which he sold out of a mobile showroom before opening a showroom in the Branson area. Also from Missouri, Shelly was born in St Louis. She earned a degree in Dental Hygiene, and after spending some time at a large group dental practice, she moved to Branson in 1995. Shelley had a 27-year career alongside Dr. Christian Willard until back problems forced her retirement. After leaving the dental field, Shelly focused her time, talent and energy on the family business of Sho-Me Flooring and Sho-Me Clean. She was now able to devote her full-time attention to the business she had previously been involved with on a part-time basis.
The couple agree that the dynamic of a husband and wife team has afforded them many opportunities—and a few challenges. Rob and Shelley also have a dedicated staff that is well vetted. Two sons have joined Sho-Me Flooring and are among the company's team members. Sho-Me Flooring is IICR certified, licensed and insured.
"We do have specials and sales passed on from our distributors as they run specials," Shelley explained. "As most people know, tariffs have changed the landscape of the supply chain and are increasing costs across the board. This has affected the flooring industry significantly. We make efforts to offer products with the least number of tariffs. We have decided to do everything we can to help our clients to have the opportunity for purchasing our products. We offer zero percent financing for qualified applicants through Synchrony as well."
Sho-Me Flooring has a showroom, located at 225 Cross Creek Boulevard, just east of Branson, complete with a large selection of carpets, vinyl, laminate and tile. The showroom is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday by appointment.
