As fall approaches in the Ozarks, it’s a great time to enjoy Little Heroes Park, where kids and their families can learn and play together as they enjoy sports in a Scripture-based atmosphere.

In addition to the park’s nine sports stations, where families can try their skills at a variety of sports, Little Heroes invites the community to check out the fellowship and fun of participating in “LHP Clubs.” At the clubs, youth and adults can enjoy 3-on-3 basketball, pickleball, archery, a walk/run group and the newest club offering, disc golf.

From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays, youth and adults of all skill levels can enjoy open play on the park’s scenic disc golf course. A club membership is just $25 to finish out the fall season and continue into the 2027 season; or check it out with a one-day pass for $10.

Little Heroes Park is located at 108 Little Heroes Circle, Walnut Shade, just north of the big cross at U.S. Hwy. 65 and U.S. Hwy 160. The sports stations are sponsored by Life’s Journey, a nonprofit organization that offers faith-based sports camps in the U.S. and in Central America, with the goal of kids having fun and learning more about the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ through the Scripture verses shared at each sports station. Learn more about the mission of Little Heroes, and check out the disc golf and other clubs as well as special events hosted regularly at the park, by visiting https://www.littleheroespark.org/.
