Limited space left for scrapbook weekend

One of the Forsyth Library's favorite fundraising events is coming soon.

The annual Scrapbook Weekend to benefit the Forsyth Library is set for August 14 - 16 and according to organizers, there are only a few open spots left.

The Scrapbook Weekend is the perfect chance for scrapbook enthusiasts to gather for a weekend of networking, learning, creativity and fun. The event will also feature raffles, door prizes and vendors offering the latest and greatest items for scrapbooking.

Registration fees for the Scrapbook Weekend include six to eight feet of table space to work on each day, as well as one catered meal daily. Registration is only $185 per person, with proceeds benefiting the Forsyth Library. Payment, by Venmo or check, is due at the time of registration. To register, call Cathy Rowden at 417-263-1936. The event will be held at Westgate Woods Resort, 2201 Westgate Drive in Branson. Those wishing to reserve lodging for the weekend may contact the resort directly. Those participating in the fundraiser will be extended a special room rate of $90 plus tax per night. 

The event takes place Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 14, 15 and 16.  Hours are 8 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
