Hollister's Soto Fest a huge success

One of the area's most unique fall festivals was held last weekend. Hollister celebrated their 8th annual State of the Ozarks Festival, also known as SOTO Fest on Historic Downing Street. Thousands braved the heat to join in the fun and festivities.

SOTO Fest is a true celebration of the Ozarks history, legends and lore. In traditional street-fair fashion, the day offered something for everyone, with plenty of music, food and fun.

Booths representing local businesses and nonprofits lined Downing Street. Artisans and crafters displayed their handiwork. Music of all types was enjoyed throughout the day, with a variety of performers sharing their talent from the Main Street Stage or the Limestone Stage. Several food trucks offered many options for festival food. Medieval fighting and other arts were demonstrated, and there were plenty of games and activities for the children.

The State of the Ozarks Beard Contest was a highlight of the day's activities.

The State of the Ozarks wishes to thank all who made SOTO Fest 2025 such a success, especially their sponsors Table Rock Community Bank, Patriot Heat and Air, Cremations of the Ozarks, Hodges Insurance, Vintage Paris, Maxfield Athletics Training Inc, the City of Hollister and The Branson Globe.
