One of Branson's favorite musical groups realized a dream come true last week.
The award-winning Haygoods performed as part of the Springfield Route 66 Centennial Kickoff Concert on April 30, at the Great Southern Bank Arena.
The Haygoods, stars of their own Branson-based show at the Clay Cooper Theater, shared the stage with such musical greats as Little Big Town, Gary LeVox of Rascal Flatts, Gretchen Wilson, Chris Janson and the Ozark Mountain Daredevils.
The concert was a part of the National Route 66 Centennial Kickoff Celebration, in honor of the 100th anniversary of the famed Route 66.
The Haygoods, who performed in front of 10,000 fans at the Great Southern Bank Arena, are known for their high-energy shows, cutting-edge technology and special effects, and unequalled musical talent.
During their first ever arena event, The Haygoods received a standing ovation for their performance, which included much of their own original music.
