Gone after 23 years

A longtime Branson staple has shut down. After a successful 23 years in business, Branson's Fuddruckers, a chain restaurant that featured fresh, made-to-order burgers, shakes and more, has closed its doors.

A social media post noted that the eatery closed due to the retirement of the franchise owner.

"After 23 wonderful years, the Fuddruckers in Branson is now closed," stated a post on the Fuddrucker's social media account late last week. "The owner is retiring. Thank you to all our guests and employees who helped make Fudds "The World's Best Hamburger Restaurant."

Fuddruckers was located at 1615 West 76 Country Boulevard, across the highway from the Pepsi Legends Theatre. No word yet on what might replace the popular restaurant.
