Forsyth Christmas Parade to be held December 13

The Forsyth Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Forsyth invite area residents to join them for the annual Forsyth Christmas Parade on Saturday evening, December 13.

This year’s parade will start at 6 p.m.—the first time, at least in recent history and memory, that the parade has been held after dark. This change helps celebrate the city’s community Christmas tree, lighted for the first time on November 1, and the city’s participation in the area’s Christmas Coalition, including an ongoing commitment to updating and expanding Christmas lighting in the downtown area.

Everyone is invited to participate in the parade; entry fee is a blanket donation to Forsyth Schools. Blankets should be dropped off at the Chamber office, 157 Main St. in Forsyth, prior to December 5.

Find RSVP/entry information at the Chamber website, https://www.forsythmissouri.org/event, or Facebook page. You’ll also find a parade map for making plans to watch. Santa hopes to see you there!
