Event to talk about issues Branson is facing

"Uncovered" is the name of a powerful live event set for May 2.

Hosted by Dustin Tavella and Red Light Rebellion, "Uncovered" has a goal of educating those in attendance and equipping them with the tools they need to stay ahead of ongoing issues that Branson is facing.

Red Light Rebellion is a nonprofit organization that exists to prevent child sex trafficking.

"We are hosting a live, in person event to initiate conversations around all that has been happening in Branson, MO," Tavella explained in a social media post about the event. "So much has been swept under the rug like these things don't exist and the most healthy thing we can do is stop acting like these things don't exist and aren't happening. We will be addressing issues around grooming and sexual abuse, having conversations to inspire and encourage our faith, worshipping and also having a question-and-answer portion."

"Uncovered" is set for Saturday, May 2, beginning at 2 p.m., at Branson's Grand Shanghai Theater, 3455 West 76 Country Boulevard.
