European-style Christmas market coming to Branson in 2026

A new holiday tradition is coming to Branson in 2026 with the launch of the Branson Christkindlmarkt, a European-style Christmas market inspired by the festive village markets of Germany, Austria and Hungary. The market will take place during November and December, located beneath the iconic clock tower at The Shoppes at Branson Meadows, 4560 Gretna Rd. in Branson. 

Branson Christkindlmarkt is being produced and coordinated by Jenny Caro. Jenny and her husband, John, retired to the lakes area in 2020 after operating a jewelry store in Woodbridge, Virginia, for over 30 years. After getting settled, they began serving the community by offering jewelry appraisals, which are often needed for insurance or estate planning purposes, by appointment through Table Rock Jewelry Appraisals. Now they see the new Christmas market as a way to offer a unique experience to area residents and visitors. 

“Our goal is to create something truly special for Branson—a place where families, couples and visitors can slow down, enjoy the season and experience the charm of a traditional European Christmas market right here in the Ozarks,” shared Jenny. 

From Thanksgiving weekend through the weekend before Christmas, the area surrounding the clock tower will be transformed into a walkable holiday village filled with lights, music, artisan vendors, and seasonal food and drink. Designed as an entire experience rather than a traditional festival, the market will feature decorated wooden huts, currently being constructed, with curated vendors offering handcrafted gifts, warm foods such as raclette-style melted cheese, and traditional holiday beverages including mulled wine and hot chocolate in collectable mugs. 

Admission to the market will be free, encouraging guests to stroll, linger and enjoy the atmosphere. Caro also said she is getting acquainted with shop owners in Branson Meadows and hopes they will host special sidewalk events of their own as the Christkindlmarkt draws additional guests to the area. The market is being developed in collaboration with local tourism partners and community organizations and is expected to attract both residents and regional holiday travelers.
