As summer winds down, the cast and crew at Freedom Encounter Theater are shifting gears to a new season of fun and education, with the opening of “The Freedom Journey Experience” this week!
The Freedom Journey Experience is an hour-long multi-media experience in the newly opened Liberty Theater, Wilderness School and Colonial Church. Your entire family or group will be inspired by the life of Benjamin Rush, a signer of the Declaration of Independence, as you learn about America’s Founding Documents and spiritual heritage! You’ll also enjoy an actual school lesson from the 1800s, presented by a teacher.
Performances open to the public are scheduled for most Tuesdays through Fridays at either 11:30 a.m. or 12:30 p.m.; visit https://www.freedomencounter.com or call 417-544-0372 for details and ticket information. Groups of any size up to 30 can schedule their own special experience appointment, as well; call for details.
A special Student Day is planned for Friday, September 19, at 10 a.m. At just $10 plus tax per ticket, “everyone’s a student,” and ages four and under are FREE. In addition to a special Freedom Journey Experience, the day’s opportunities will include the chance to meet a live bald eagle, from 9 to 9:45 a.m.!
Plan your visit now, and start your public school, private school, or homeschool year off right by learning more about our nation’s foundations of faith and freedom!
