Eleventh annual Night of the Tiger a huge success

Students and their parents flocked to the Hollister School campus on Thursday for their annual Family Fair. The 11th annual Night of the Tiger event brought with it games, food and lots of fun activities. 

The annual open house and family fair afforded students the opportunity to visit their classrooms and meet their teachers prior to the first day of school. Those in attendance enjoyed food, fellowship and fun. Students received free backpacks, haircuts and needed screenings to ensure their readiness for school.

Many nonprofits, including Christian Action Ministries, Salvation Army and the YMCA, along with a number of area businesses were on hand, offering resources and support to Hollister families.

The Night of the Tiger provided a true welcome to Hollister for students and their families who are new to the district and a renewed sense of community for all returning students.
