Easter fun set for this weekend

Easter brings with it lots of fun for children, with a variety of Easter egg hunts and fun events. This year most of the activities are scheduled for Saturday, April 4.

Big Cedar is the site of an Easter Festival on the Grandview Lawn. Activities for families and children include an outdoor Easter egg hunt, games, face painting, crafts and more. The family-friendly festival is slated for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Big Cedar Lodge.

 

The Grove Christian Church teams up with several Branson businesses for an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 4. The egg hunt is divided into three age categories, and helicopters drop eggs, filled with candy and prizes at the start of the event. The fun begins at 9:30 a.m.

 

Doggies and their handlers can get in on the Easter fun on Saturday, April 4, at Stockstill Park. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m., and the hunt gets underway at 10 a.m., with dogs collecting the Easter eggs, filled with delicious treats and vouchers that can be redeemed for fabulous prizes. Proceeds benefit the Shepherd of the Hills Humane Society.

 

On Saturday afternoon, Hollister is the place to be with the Great Hollister Easter Egg Hunt from 12 - 2. Witness over 15,000 eggs being dropped by helicopter to signal the beginning of the fun. Saturday's event also includes games, entertainment and lots of fun,

 

Grace Community Assembly of Branson will host a fabulous afternoon of fun with an Easter egg hunt on Saturday at Branson's Eiserman Park. The excitement begins at 3 p.m.

 

The true meaning of Easter can be celebrated on Sunday, April 5, with Easter Sunrise services and Easter Sunday services. Contact a church of your choice for service times and more information.
