Doggie Swim set for Monday

Dogs and their parents alike will enjoy a special end of summer event on Labor Day with the annual Doggie Swim.

The event is a fun-filled evening for dogs and their handlers. For a nominal fee, dogs are invited to swim laps, jump off the diving board, play fetch in the shallow end or dog paddle around the pool.

The Doggie Swim is set for Monday, September 1, Labor Day, 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Branson's AquaPlex, located at the RecPlex.

Each dog must have a handler and must remain on a leash when on the pool deck.

Admission is just $6 for one dog and one handler. Register online at bransonmo.gov or in person on the day of the event.
