Doggie Swim a huge success

Labor Day, the unofficial last day of the summer season, offers a favorite event for pets and their parents.

Each year on Labor Day, after the AquaPlex has said goodbye to their last swimmer of the season, the facility turns into a paradise for pups.

The AquaPlex, located at Branson's RecPlex, offers a Doggie Swim (also known as Doggie Dive In) annually on Labor Day evening. The event allows pets and their parents to splash, dive and just cool off in the beautiful facility.

Dogs of all shapes, sizes and breeds, along with their handlers, enjoyed the fun at this year's event. Some dogs chased balls into the pool, while others enjoyed catching frisbees or simply diving into the refreshing water.  

The cooler weather meant fewer dogs than in years past, but those in attendance had a great time closing down the pool for the 2025 season.
