A local church will hold a ceremony in honor of the beautiful new mural that graces their building.
Painted by artist Valerie Clayton of Liberty, Missouri, the mural on the outside of Branson's Church of the Harvest, was designed to depict the biblical harvest.
"A wheat field, a man cutting wheat, a woman stacking wheat, a woman with a baby working in the field," explained Dr. Paul Collins, Pastor of the Church of the Harvest.
A ceremony to dedicate the mural will be held on November 30 following the church's 10:30 worship service. The dedication will begin at approximately 12 noon.
"The mural will be dedicated to the honor of Christ and his service," said Collins. "It covers the entire north wall of the church, overlooking the south parking lot for the Financial Center Building, located on West Main."
Branson's Church of the Harvest is located at 501 West College Street in downtown Branson.
