Ceremony celebrates new mural on downtown church

Branson's Church of the Harvest recently held a signing ceremony in honor of a new mural on the outside of their church building.
The mural. painted by artist Valerie Clayton of Liberty, MO (formerly of Springfield) is located on the church's north side, facing the Branson Financial Center in downtown Branson. The signing ceremony was held after the Sunday morning worship service on November 30, with a large number of church members and visitors in attendance. A reception followed the signing ceremony,
"The mural is intended to be a visible message to the community and the millions of tourists," explained Dr. Paul Collins, Pastor of Church of the Harvest. "The message is a simple reminder of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the parable of the Sower and stories about the harvesting of wheat."
Branson's Church of the Harvest is located at 501 West College in Branson. Sunday services are held at 10:30 a.m., with adult Sunday School classes at 9:30 a.m. Everyone is invited to attend.
