Campaign announcement by Dr. Alex Williams for Branson Alderman, Ward 1

Dr. Alex Williams announces his candidacy with the following statement:

"I’m honored to officially announce my candidacy for Alderman, Ward 1 in the City of Branson. Branson isn’t just my home—it’s my heart. From my years serving as a helicopter pilot in the Missouri National Guard, to my time as an instructor of patriotic education at College of the Ozarks, to my current role as a local business owner, and through my service on the Branson/Lakes Area Tourism Community Enhancement District (TCED) Board, the Finance Committee, and the Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Commission, I’ve had the privilege of seeing firsthand how our community operates, grows and serves those it is duty-bound to represent.

"Our community is built on faith, family and flag—values that define who we are and what we stand for. Branson’s love for veterans, respect for service and commitment to our neighbors are unmatched, and I’m running to ensure those traditions remain strong for generations to come.

"As a business owner and civic leader, I understand the importance of fiscal responsibility, transparency and forward thinking. But leadership is about more than budgets and policies—it’s about people and purpose. We must strive not only to be successful in our capacity as representatives of this community, but to be significant in the way we serve. Success is measured in outcomes; significance is measured in impact.

"I believe in servant leadership that protects our past, strengthens our present and prepares Branson for a bright future. Together, we can preserve what makes Branson exceptional while ensuring our growth honors the values that built this city.

"It’s been an honor to serve the Branson community as a member of the Branson School Board for the past two years, and I hope you will allow me to continue that service as Ward 1 Alderman with your vote on April 7.

"God bless!"
