Two area businesswomen are teaming up to assist the family of Jacob Seiler, who died after jumping in to help a fellow worker caught in the flooding from a water line break, during recent construction in Branson.
Realtor Rose Backlin and Wendy Youngblood of Ink’d by Risk Masters Group in Hollister are taking orders for custom T-shirts, with profits going to Seiler’s children. The black Gildan shirt features what is likely Seiler’s most recognizable photo, from his role in The Shepherd of the Hills outdoor drama production.
“This man lost his life by jumping in to save another man,” said Backlin. “I didn’t know him well personally, but I was so moved by the thoughts of the grief his family must be experiencing, so Wendy and I decided to do something to help.”
Shirts can be pre-ordered via the link on Backlin’s Facebook page, using card or Venmo, or call 417-239-5793 for more information. Orders should be placed by Wednesday, October 8; or for those not needing a shirt, cash donations are also accepted.
