Bill Chrastil shares sad news

A former Branson entertainer shared some devastating news this past week. Diane Chrastil, wife of veteran Branson vocalist Bill Chrastil, has passed away.

Chrastil, who calls Nebraska home, spent many years performing in the music mecca of Branson, where he was known as a powerhouse performer. Chrastil's mixture of tributes, country music and gospel selections captured the hearts of all who saw him during his Branson tenure.

Diane Chrastil will be remembered as a loving mother to daughter Mindy and Miranda, and doting grandmother to Aviana and Barrett.

"She was the heart of our family," said Bill Chrastil. "She brought so much love, strength and warmth to our lives, and I am incredibly grateful for all the years we shared and the countless memories we made together."

Chrastil continued, "Diane was not only my wife, but my best friend and the love of my life. I will miss her more than words can express. Her love will live on through her children, grandchildren and everyone whose life she touched. She will be deeply missed but her memory will always live in our hearts."

A social media post stated that information about services and arrangements would be shared when it became available.
