Wrestling Battle Royal match to help raise money for Shriners
Professional wrestlers will be in the squared circle in Hollister on Saturday, Sept. 26, to help raise money for the Taney County Shrine Club.
The Taney County Shrine Charity Slam presented by Mid-States Wrestling will be held at the Hollister High School gym on Sept. 26. The live event starts at 7 p.m., with a VIP Meet and Greet at 5:30 p.m. Doors will be open at 6 p.m.
The main match of the night will be a 10-Man Battle Royal. A Battle Royal is a match where numerous wrestlers enter the ring and when the bell rings, they wrestle one another attempting to throw their competitors over the top rope. Once a wrestler is put out with both their feet touching the floor they are eliminated. The last wrestler in the ring wins.
Ticket prices start at $10 and proceeds will go toward the Abuo Ben Adhem/ Taney County Shrine Club.

The Taney County Shrine Club helps fund the Shriners Children's hospital network, specifically supporting specialized pediatric medical care including treatments for children with bone disorders and severe burns.
Mid-State Wrestling is headquartered in Harrison, AR, and is a wrestling promotion in Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Kansas.
One wrestler with Mid-States Wrestling has local ties. Colton Theron Vaught, known in the ring as "Must CTV," is from Crane.
