As part of its ongoing commitment to honoring and supporting America’s service members, Walmart presented a $3,000 community grant to the Branson Veterans Task Force during the 16th Annual Walmart Tribute to the Veterans Show, held at the Mansion Theatre in Branson.

Each year, the Branson Veterans Task Force hosts the Veterans Wreath Project, which ensures that wreaths are placed at the headstones of hometown heroes who served our nation. The grant from Walmart will help fund this meaningful effort, as well as support the purchase of televisions to improve communication in the Veterans Village during Veterans Week.
“At Walmart, we are deeply proud to support those who have served and sacrificed for our country,” said Jennifer Ricks, People Lead at Walmart. “Through partnerships like this with the Branson Veterans Task Force, we can help ensure our veterans are remembered, honored and connected with the support they deserve.”
The event, organized in partnership with the P.O.W. Network, took place on Monday, with Walmart’s management team joining on stage to present the donation before the start of the annual tribute show. Following the program, attendees were invited to the Walmart Tribute lunch at Branson Meadows to continue the celebration and fellowship with veterans and their families.
