Veterans of the Ozarks award scholarships

The Veterans of the Ozarks proudly announces that four scholarships for the upcoming 2026-27 school year were awarded at the group’s most recent meeting. The scholarship program was developed to help with educational expenses of active duty service members, ROTC/JROTC members and family members of retired military and veterans. 

Recipients for this year’s awards were—

• Delaney Guardiola 

• Zachary Hembree 

• Reese Loveland 

• Heather Jackson 

The scholarship program is just one of the ways in which VOTO members carry out their mission of helping resource, connect and serve fellow veterans. 

Regular fundraisers provide funding for such programs; so mark your calendar and plan to join the Veterans of the Ozarks on Saturday, September 19, for their 11th Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser at Holiday Hills Golf Club in Branson. The tournament is open to all; cost is $440 per team for the four-person scramble and includes an awards luncheon.
