Two charities tee off to help raise funds and awareness

Swing into action to help raise funds for two local charities who serve the community.

The Branson Regional Arts Council (BRAC) and Arise-n-Hope Clothing Outreach are hosting a charity golf tournament at Holiday Hills golf course on Sept. 27. Tee off is scheduled at 8 a.m. for the two-man scramble tournament. The cost per team is $200. Sponsorships are also still available, $100 per sponsor.

Arising-N-Hope President Joelene Powell said the partnership was a natural fit because both organizations share a commitment to serving others and giving back to the community.

“Come out and spend the morning playing the sport you love while giving back to the community,” Powell said. “Grab a partner, sign up and join us for a morning of golf, fellowship and fun while supporting two organizations that truly care about the people and communities we serve.”
