Tuesday night NFL FLAG Football coming to Ballparks of America: Open to Branson, Hollister and surrounding-area families

A new youth sports opportunity is coming to the Branson area this fall as Missouri Epic NFL FLAG launches its inaugural recreational flag football league at Ballparks of America.

The six-week league will take place on Tuesday nights from September 29 through November 3 and is open to boys and girls ages 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U and 17U. The 8U and 10U divisions will be coed.

Missouri Epic NFL FLAG is designed to give athletes an opportunity to experience organized football in a safe, positive and recreational environment, regardless of their school, experience level or previous participation in the sport.

Bring your team—or join one!

Teams can bring their own five–10 player roster, while individual athletes are also encouraged to register. Players registering individually can identify a coach and list friends or teammates they would like to play with. Missouri Epic will work to help place individual players together and build teams.

Every player will receive:

●      Official reversible NFL FLAG jersey

●      NFL FLAG equipment/flags

●      Six weeks of game time

●      Team-building and skill-development opportunities

●      A safety-first recreational environment

●      The opportunity for teams to represent the NFL team of their choice

“We want this to be bigger than just football,” said Terri Crisler, Owner of Missouri Epic NFL FLAG. “We want to create an opportunity where kids can come together, learn the game, build confidence, develop skills and have fun in a safe environment. Whether a child already has a team or has never played organized flag football before, we want them on the field.”

Open to all schools

Missouri Epic NFL FLAG is inviting all Branson, Hollister and surrounding-area schools and families to participate.

Schools are encouraged to put together teams, share the opportunity with their students and help connect local athletes with the program. Athletes do not have to attend a particular school to participate.

The program is also seeking coaches and referees who want to become part of the initiative and help build a positive youth sports experience for the community.

Registration is now open. Registration is $250 per player through September 4 and $300 per player September 5–11. Registration closes September 11.

Missouri Epic is also inviting local businesses to become inaugural sponsors of the program. With games taking place every Tuesday night at Ballparks of America, sponsorships provide businesses with an opportunity to connect their brand with local families while directly supporting youth sports in the Branson and Hollister communities.
