Freedom Encounter staff, volunteers and cast members are excited to announce they are open and ready to welcome area residents and visitors to the 2026 season, celebrating 250 years of freedom in the United States of America!
Coming up on Friday, May 1, starting at 10 a.m., “everyone’s a student,” at just $12 for tickets purchased by April 17. Great for kids of all ages, Student Day features the amazing stage show, “A Time for Freedom,” and highlights the writing of the Constitution. School groups and families are encouraged to take advantage of this special day.
Hours for the gift shop, bookstore and concessions are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Stop by and meet Front of House Manager Deena Cates, find some unique gifts and educational materials, and learn more about some new exciting shows and exhibits planned for this year; or take advantage of the one-hour interactive Freedom Journey Experience available starting at 1 p.m. daily Tuesday through Saturday.
Also mark your calendar for Saturday, June 20, at 11 a.m. and plan to attend “Meet Thomas Jefferson,” featuring Steve Edenbo, who has portrayed Jefferson in Philadelphia; Washington, D.C.; and on the History Channel. His performance recalls the writing of the Declaration of Independence, and this special Branson appearance is the perfect way to mark America’s 250th birthday!
