Spring is just around the corner, and with it, more fun and educational events for children are coming up at the Kimberling Area Library at 45 Kimberling Boulevard, Kimberling City!
On Tuesday, March 3, things get started with the Lego Club, held the first Tuesday of each month at 4:15 p.m. Kids ages five and up spend time creating, building and playing alongside friends. We supply the Legos; you supply the imagination!
On Monday, March 9, kids of all ages are invited to Cookie Storytime at 10:30 a.m. Cookies are provided!
On Monday, March 23, the Storytime theme will be Parachute Play, so come ready to get moving and have fun!
Mark your calendar now for these April dates and activities:
Tuesday, April 7: Lego Club, 4:15 p.m.
Monday, April 13: SuperHero Storytime at 10:30 a.m. Dress up as your favorite SuperHero and enjoy stories, songs and a craft.
Monday, April 27: It’s Dino-mite Storytime! Come enjoy songs, dancing, a craft and of course, stories! All ages are welcome for Storytime sessions.
Increasing amounts of research are showing the long-term health benefits of getting kids off of screens and into books, friends and outdoor play; and regular activities by our area libraries are a great way for your family to enjoy these things. Here’s to some spring weather and educational fun!
