The Missouri Thunder, who joined the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Teams League in its inaugural season of 2022, announced today that the team is returning to Thunder Ridge Nature Arena in Ridgedale, Missouri, for its annual homestand Sept. 4-6.
The Labor Day weekend destination event at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena near Big Cedar Lodge brings together world-class bull riding, as the league’s 10 teams compete in head-to-head bull riding games, and two major concerts – all packed into three action-filled days in a breathtaking outdoor amphitheater nestled in the heart of the Ozarks.
Friday night will conclude with a live post-event concert by multi-Platinum chart topper, Chris Janson, while Saturday night will cap off the weekend by treating fans to a concert under the stars from three-time GRAMMY winner and the most-awarded artist in Academy of Country Music history, Miranda Lambert.
General public tickets for Bass Pro Shops PBR Thunder Days, presented by DoorDash, are available at PBR.com and ThunderRidgeNatureArena.com. Fans can also take advantage of three-day ticket packages, providing the best value and access to a full weekend of competition, concerts and family-friendly activities.
Beyond the competition and concerts, guests can enjoy a family-friendly Fan Zone featuring interactive activities and entertainment. Designed for guests of all ages, the Fan Zone will offer families a way to experience the energy of Thunder Days and create lasting memories together.
The Thunder, Missouri’s first-ever professional bull riding team, compete in one of the most exciting and fastest-growing sports leagues in the country. PBR Teams transforms individual heroics into intense team competition, delivering nonstop drama, spectacular athleticism and a win-loss game format appealing to all sports fans.
Under the leadership of General Manager Luke Snyder and Head Coach Ross Coleman, Missouri’s roster features some of the sport’s fan-favorite talents, including Cabool, Missouri hometown cowboy Maverick Smith, Brazilian phenom Paulo Eduardo Rossetto and his newly drafted younger brother Angelo Junior Rossetto, Felipe Furlan, Australian Macaulie Leather, rising superstar Kade Madsen and many more.
“We’re proud to bring PBR Teams back to Thunder Ridge to offer fans so much more than a sporting event,” said Luke Snyder, General Manager, Missouri Thunder. “This is a destination weekend where world-class bull riding, hometown team pride, incredible live music and the beauty of the Ozarks all come together to create an experience that fans will remember long after the final ride.”
The bull riding action for Bass Pro Shops PBR Thunder Days, presented by DoorDash at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena begins at 7:45 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 4; 6:45 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 5; and concludes at 2:15 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 6.
