Help support area children at Sept. 6 fundraiser in Kimberling City

St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Kimberling City invites the community to a fundraiser helping support several area charities that provide valuable services to children. On Saturday, September 6, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., the women’s ministries of St. Mark’s will partner with the women of Shepherd of the Hills Episcopal Church to host this fun evening for a great cause.

Tickets are $15 and may be purchased from members of the two churches or at the door. The evening’s events will include hors d’oeuvres, wine, live music and lots of fun silent auction items donated by area individuals and businesses:

  • Spa treatments;

  • Themed baskets including doggie basket, pamper basket, books, gardening, wine and many others;

  • Restaurant gift certificates including Cheddars, Longhorn, Local Flavor, El Lago, Pizza by the Chef, Pizza Hut, Crazy Craig’s and more;

  • Branson show gift certificates including Six, the Duttons, Americana Theater, Hughes Brothers and more;

  • The “grand prize” of silent auction items—dinner with local comedian Terry Sanders at Level 2 Steakhouse.

Proceeds from the evening will help serve area children through the Child Advocacy Center; Campus & Youth Ministry; House of Hope; Smile Center; and the counseling and backpack programs of Blue Eye, Reeds Spring and Galena schools in Stone County.

St. Mark’s Episcopal Church is located at 3 Northwood in Kimberling City (Joe Bald Road). For questions or more information, call 620-252-0452 or 813-767-0512.
