Harbor House Domestic Violence Center to host annual gala fundraiser
A center, whose sole mission is to help women and children who are victims of domestic violence, is preparing for their biggest annual fundraiser.

Harbor House Domestic Violence Center will host its annual gala fundraiser on Oct. 23, 2026, at Chateau on the Lake in Branson. ‘A Legacy of Hope’ Gala will begin with a silent auction at 5:30 p.m. The evening will include dueling pianos, a live auction, dinner, a wine and whiskey pull, raffle and a presentation from a domestic violence survivor. Tickets are currently available for the night with all proceeds benefiting the shelter.
“Our gala is always a great night for a great cause,” Cinda Bauer Harbor House Executive Director said. “Our mission is clear, we believe everyone deserves to live free from fear. In our area we have a serious threat to the safety and wellbeing of families, the epidemic of domestic violence. At our annual gala, we ask our community to show their compassion and heart through donations. With the funds raised we can continue to help bring domestic violence victims to a safe harbor from the storm.”
Bauer said this year has been harder financially than most and the need is even more pressing for financial help.
“With costs of everything and the drop in bigger grants, we are in more need than ever,” Bauer said. “The cost of living is going up for everyone including our shelter and for us to help our girls.”
Tickets are $100 a piece or a table for eight for $750 and can be purchased at https://harborhousedomesticviolencecenter.app.neoncrm.com/forms/gala-2026-registration.
