Forsyth Area Chamber celebrates community leaders at annual gala fundraiser

On Saturday evening, February 2, the Forsyth Area Chamber of Commerce hosted its Black & White Annual Gala, welcoming local business leaders, community members and volunteers for an evening of celebration, fellowship and recognition.
The gala featured dinner catered by T & K Catering, table-side entertainment by a professional magician, a silent auction and an awards ceremony honoring individuals and organizations nominated by the community for their leadership, service and commitment which continue to strengthen the Forsyth community.
The following awards were presented during the evening:
● Nonprofit of the Year: Lake Taneycomo Elks Lodge #2597
● Rising Star Award: Encounter Exteriors
● Golden Heart Award: Central Taney County Fire Chief Brad Chaney
● Excellence in Business Award: Branson Bank
● Excellence in Leadership Award: Forsyth Fire Chief Nate Bower
● Community Legacy Award: Brian and Marilyn Atchley
● 10 Years of Board Service: Jeff Walls
“These awards represent the dedication, service and leadership that make our community such a special place,” said Chamber President David Veldman. “We are proud to recognize those who go above and beyond to support Forsyth and its future.”
The Chamber extends its sincere appreciation to event sponsors, volunteers, donors and attendees who helped make the gala a success. Proceeds from the event support the Chamber’s mission to promote local businesses, encourage economic growth and foster strong community connections.
