The Jukebox Winos were the opening band for Chris Luneau and The White Buffalo during a recent Branson Landing Summer Concert—part of the Landing’s 18th annual summer concert series. A flash mob of local line dancers performed during the show. The dancers were organized through two Branson-based Facebook groups—Branson Social Dancers and Wrangler’s Line Dancers. This event was preplanned and coordinated by Laurie Jones and Nikki Kinney, Branson Landing Marketing Director. The song setlist was arranged for maximum dance time and crowd participation.
According to Nikki Kinney, “We hope to include more of these types of dancers at our future concerts.” Laurie Jones, a member of one of the line dancing groups, states, “We hope to bring more awareness and in turn gain more dancers!” Debbie from Jukebox Winos, agreed. “It was a fun event and we hope to coordinate more often with the line dancers.”
The Branson Landing has one more concert planned for this year on Saturday night, August 30.
