White River Connect, a subsidiary of White River Valley Electric Cooperative, is now taking orders for customers living in the Lake service area. This includes parts of Branson West and Reeds Spring. “We’re here to bring real connectivity to the communities of Reeds Spring and Branson West. Giving businesses and visitors the speed and service they deserve,” said Beau Jackson, CEO of White River Connect.
“At White River Connect, our promise is simple: deliver high-speed symmetrical fiber internet with no gimmicks, hidden fees and a dedicated local team that’s excited to serve their neighbors and showcase the White River Connect difference.”
Construction began on White River Connect’s fiber network in June of 2023 with its first customer receiving internet service at their home in April 2024. The project, which will provide internet to rural areas of Christian, Douglas, Ozark, Stone, and Taney counties was estimated to take four years to complete and will cover over 4,200 miles of fiber. White River Connect’s high-speed internet is currently available in the areas of Branson, Bluewater, Bear Creek, Sweden, Rockaway, Gretna, and Goodhope, Compton Ridge, Taneyville, Protem, Theodosia, Wasola and more with plans to open more markets in 2025.
